■DESIGNER COMMENT

なだらかでワイドなクラウンパント・セルフレーム。
クラシカルなフレームに多いタイトなサイズ感ではなく、アジア人でも合わせやすいように、クラシカルなディテールは残しながらもフレームサイズをワイドに設計。
ブリッジ幅を広めにしてクリングスパッド仕様にすることで、レンズ径を大きくすることなく、ゆったりとしたサイズ感を実現。
大きくなると間延びしてしまうところをしっかりと違和感なくワイドスタイルをデザインできたと自負しています。

デザイン面ではサハラ砂漠に住む「青の民」と呼ばれるトゥアレグ族が古くから作る彫金をソースにテンプル芯をデザイン。
セルフレームにメタル要素を掛け合わせることでカジュアルでありながらもどこか繊細な空気感を纏わせることを意識しました。
また幅広い骨格に対応できるように可動式のクリングスノーズパッド仕様。
テンプルは耳にかかるモダン部分を細目に設定することで、しっかりとフィッティング出来る構造。
カシメ部分の生地は集めに取ることで強度と安定性を保ちます。

製造は眼鏡製造世界三大産地でもある福井県鯖江の熟練された職人によって１本１本丁寧に作られた世界に誇るジャパンクオリティです。

A smooth and wide crown pantos plastic frame.
Instead of the tight fit commonly found in classic frames, we have designed this frame with a wider size to accommodate Asian facial features while retaining the classic details.
By widening the bridge and using adjustable nose pads, we achieved a relaxed fit without increasing the lens diameter.
We take pride in having successfully designed a wide style that maintains a balanced and comfortable look without appearing oversized.

The temple core is designed with the source of the engraving made by the Tuareg tribe called "Blue People" who live in the Sahara Desert. By multiplying the cell frame with metal elements, I was conscious of creating a casual yet delicate atmosphere. In addition, nose pad specifications that can be adjusted to support a wide range of skeletons. The temple has a structure that can be firmly fitted by setting the modern part that touches the ear thinly. The caulked part of the fabric is thickened to maintain strength and stability.

Manufacture is carefully made one by one by skilled craftsmen in Sabae, Fukui Prefecture, which is also one of the world's three major eyeglass manufacturing regions.
