八角形のオクタゴンフレームは、クラシカルな雰囲気を持ちながらも、マットなカラーリングによってモダンな印象を加えています。ブリッジとテンプルには、繊細なミル打ち加工が施され、ジュエリーのような上品なアクセントが加わっています。

フィット感を追求したオリジナルのヒンジとテンプルも特別に設計しました。ヒンジには純チタンを採用し、ひょうたん型のデザインにより、顔幅や傾斜角を工具で微調整できる仕組みとなっています。テンプルには、柔らかい弾性を持つベータチタンを使用し、顔に優しくフィットする一方で、耳元ではしっかりホールドできるよう設計されています。さらに、適度な厚みと滑り止め効果を持つスリット入りのモダンも採用しています。

標準のテンプルサイズは145mmですが、AKIRA&SONSでは多くの方に対応できるよう、ヒンジ部分を長めに取り、全長を約150mmに設計しています。長さが合わない場合は、モダンを外してテンプルを約20mmまでカットすることも可能です。

ブランドコンセプト『FIXED WITH BONE』を体現したこのアイウェアは、眼鏡技術者の熟練の技術が随所に光っています。製造は、世界三大眼鏡産地のひとつである福井県鯖江で、熟練した職人たちが1本1本丁寧に手作りした、日本が誇るクオリティの製品です。

The octagonal frame offers a classic feel, while the matte coloring adds a modern touch. The bridge and temples are accented with intricate milgrain detailing, adding a refined, jewelry-like touch.

We have carefully designed original hinges and temples for an optimal fit. The hinges are made from pure titanium with a gourd-shaped design, allowing fine adjustments to face width and tilt angle using tools. The temples, made from beta titanium, provide soft elasticity that gently fits the face while ensuring a secure hold around the ears. Additionally, the temples feature moderate thickness and slits for a slip-resistant design.

The standard temple length is 145mm, but at AKIRA&SONS, we have extended the hinge section to create a total length of approximately 150mm, accommodating a wider range of users. If the temples are too long, they can be shortened by up to 20mm by removing the tips and trimming them.
