SUEDE EFFECT

Recently, I’ve found myself naturally reaching for clothes that aren’t too perfect or polished.

Clothes with a few wrinkles, a slightly worn-in feel, and a softness that comes from being worn over time.

But when I looked at eyewear, I noticed that most frames were perfectly polished and shiny.

If clothes can have the beauty of being worn in, why can’t eyewear have that same kind of character?

That idea became the starting point for SUEDE EFFECT.

The inspiration came from a well-worn pair of suede shoes.
The soft texture, the subtle marks and irregularities, and the way they become more personal with time.

To create this feeling, we carefully work the surface of the acetate by hand, adding fine brushing to what would normally be polished smooth.

This reduces the shine and creates a soft, semi-matte texture reminiscent of suede.

The softer reflection of light gives the color a calmer, deeper appearance, allowing the frame to blend naturally with the skin and clothing.

New, yet somehow already worn in.
